Bhavna has over 15 years of experience across Prime Brokerage, Securities Services and Collateral, working in New York, London, Mumbai and Hong Kong. She has held trading and product roles at JP Morgan, BNY Mellon and Deutsche Bank, building a deep understanding of market structure and financing. At HSBC, Bhavna is part of the Markets and Securities Services (MSS) Digital Assets team, where she focuses on integrating DeFi applications into TradFi infrastructures and scaling digital asset liquidity through collateral-led use cases. She co-chairs the ISLA Digital Assets Working Group, helping shape industry standards for tokenisation and securities lending in the digital asset space. Bhavna regularly delivers educational workshops for regulators and exchanges, and has published thought-leadership articles in leading industry publications on digital assets and collateral innovation.
Based in Hong Kong, she holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from Mumbai University.
