Asset Digitization Catalyst Program

This program is designed to drive the growth of Asset Digitization and to capitalise on the opportunities this makes available.

It specifically addresses two main points:

  • A clear visibility of the real implementations of the projects that are currently underway
  • Physical points at DAW conferences for in-depth discussion on each project area, and involving all the project participants where possible.

As the complexity of the use cases and implementations of asset digitisation grows, this program is a way to help accelerate co-creating innovation and increase the rate of adoption.

Through the partnership with GDF and the global perspective of the DAW Series we will be aiming to identify pain points or opportunities that can be addressed through collaborative projects.

SUITE OF FINANCIAL INSTRUMENTS TO LAUNCH ON EU-REGULATED DLT TSS EXCHANGE

21X and SBI Digital Markets have spent the past few months working on a joint project to admit the first suite of financial instruments for trading on the leading ESMA-regulated exchange under the EU DLT regime at ‘go live’ in the coming months.

With institutional demand for digital assets at an inflection point, this project has created a breakthrough in the trading and settlement of tokenized assets, providing a matching, trading and settlement system on a public permission-less blockchain.

Archax

Archax is working with abrdn and Hedera to tokenise traditional yield-bearing instruments, such as money market funds, and then use them as collateral for payments and the transfer of value, in place of fiat currencies, stablecoins, etc. Regulated, familiar investment products like these can then be used as a form of “currency” removing single counterparty risk, and at the same time delivering yield in parallel.

In December 2023, Deutsche Bank’s asset management arm DWS, in collaboration with Galaxy and Flow Traders, announced the formation of AllUnity, a venture aimed at issuing a fully collateralized Euro-denominated stablecoin. This initiative marks a significant milestone in the integration of traditional finance with digital assets. The technological backbone of this venture is provided by GK8’s Tokenization Wizard, a unique platform designed to facilitate secure tokenization and custody of digital assets.
