Based in Singapore, Maria leads the Digital Client Engagement team for the Digital, Data & Innovation product for Asia. Her role focuses on developing robust client strategies in relation to Data, Digital Solutions as well as help in executing the strategies including measuring impact of execution.
Prior to this role, she was the Regional Head of the Client Executive Team for Asia Pacific for Banks and Broker Dealers in Institutional Sales where she led the team in Asia that manage the global account relationships of strategic clients for Securities Services.
Before joining HSBC in Singapore in 2011, Maria spent 4 years in Barclays as Head of Asset Servicing Corporate Actions covering Asia Pacific markets as part of the Securities Operations division. She also spent 6 years at HSBC Philippines in various key roles for the Direct Custody and Clearing operations.
