Jose specializes in Financial Services, with a particular focus in Fintech, Business Development and Corporate Banking. He arrived in Asia in 2003 where he joined BBVA Bank as relationship manager for European and Hong Kong Corporates for 4 years. He later specialized in structured finance and became a project finance specialist with Asia coverage at the same firm. In 2013 he arrived in Singapore to lead the team of Corporate Clients of BBVA Bank for South East Asia.
Leveraging his international expertise, in 2017 Jose joined FlexFunds, an American fintech boutique firm, to drive its growth in Asia and provide its clients with tailor made solutions to raise capital via asset securitization.
Early 2020 he joined a new Fintech company, GoBankMe Technologies, to launch a series of prepaid card solutions in Singapore, and eventually Asia.
He has recently joined Tradeflow Capital Management, the world’s first Fintech-powered commodities trade enabler focused on SMEs with the mission of reducing the USD1.5 Trillion trade finance gap faced by global SMEs in the bulk commodity trading space. Jose comes to reinforce their unique Digital Transaction and Risk Transformation architecture and to create a new digital platform that would revolutionize commodity trading.
Jose has 20 years of financial and management experience, across Singapore, Hong Kong and Spain. He holds an MBA from EOI Spain/EM Lyon, France business school and received his Bachelor of Business Administration from University of Loyola in Spain, combined with ESC Rouen in France. He is fluent in Spanish, English and French.
