After graduating from Harvard University, Adrian founded the K11 Group in 2008, pioneering the “cultural commerce” concept that seamlessly blends art, design, and commerce. He has spearheaded landmark projects like the Victoria Dockside, a global art and cultural district in Hong Kong’s iconic Tsim Sha Tsui harbourfront, investment of which is around 3.2 billion US dollars; 11 SKIES, the largest one-stop retailtainment space strategically located near Hong Kong International Airport, investment of which is nearly 4 billion US dollars; and K11 ECOAST, an ambitious commercial and culture complex in Shenzhen in the Greater Bay Area. K11 Group is also managing the Kai Tak Mall, a key component of Kai Tak Sports Park, which will be a world-class destination for sports, leisure, and entertainment in Hong Kong. K11 has successfully expanded into cities such as Shanghai, Wuhan, Guangzhou, and Tianjin, and plans to expand its footprint to 38 projects across 12 cities in Greater China. Beyond the K11 projects, Adrian also provides early-stage funding that empowers technology start-ups to design innovative solutions and achieve commercialization success.

Over the years, the K11 brand has expanded into non-profit areas. Adrian founded the K11 Art Foundation and the K11 Craft & Guild Foundation, the former aiming to incubate up-and-coming artists and creators and the latter to conserve and preserve Chinese traditional craftsmanship. Adrian is dedicated to Creating Shared Value for society and has founded “Share for Good,” Hong Kong’s first large-scale crowd-donation platform that provides much-needed assistance to the underprivileged. He also founded the WEMP Foundation, a non-profit organization that supports the mental well-being of children.

Adrian currently serves as a member of the 14th National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference of The People’s Republic of China, a vice-president of All-China General Chamber of Industry and Commerce, the chairman of the Hong Kong Mega Arts and Cultural Events Committee, and a board member of the Hong Kong Financial Services Development Council and the chair of the Hong Kong Academy for Wealth Legacy.

In 2017, Adrian became the youngest person in Hong Kong to receive the “Officier de l’Ordre des Arts et des Lettres” from the French Government.
